1. Kayak (Sit on top kayaks give you the most room, but any kayak can get you to fish.)
2. A GOOD paddle. (Bending Branches and Aqua-Bound are awesome products.)
3. A comfortable PFD.
Thats it! Don't let all the crazy gear you see make you think you need it! The best thing to do is get out and fish then set up your kayak as you think it needs it. The only perfect kayak set up is one you customized yourself.
I can't wait to go to our lake and go fishing. It's really fun and there's this certain satisfaction when you get a catch.
ReplyDeleteYou are right . We tend to focus mainly on personal flotation device, paddle and boats. So, we can feel pretty safe being on and in the water at any time.
